Come for the history. Stay for the Hospitality.
“General Andrew Jackson and his men find refuge in Kosciusko on their way to the Battle of New Orleans”
Kosciusko is located at the center of Mississippi just off the Natchez Trace Parkway, mile marker 160. We are the oldest surviving settlement on the Trace. No town, old or young, big or little, has furnished so many distinguished men in law, politics, science and theology as Kosciusko. Hospitality abound, visitors take a step back in time as they travel the old trace in downtown where General Andrew Jackson and his troops, while traveling to the Battle of New Orleans, camped, found needed rations and crystal clear water at Redbud Springs. You’ll find a rendition of Choate’s cabin who provided beef and other materials for his men and native travelers as you walk the historical footsteps. Located only a few miles from the Natchez Trace Parkway. Take Huntington To History
